Institut Georges Chappaz (FR)

The local scientific partners intervened, especially during the exploration time organised in each country. They give scientific knowledge about the environment and issues linked to local sustainability.

The Georges Chappaz Institute, part of the University of Reims Champagne Ardennes, is a structure that pools research and development activities related to vines and wine. Various research laboratories in the exact and natural sciences, as well as in the human and social sciences, are partners of the institute for a better interdisciplinary synergy. The institute’s mission is to promote the dissemination of knowledge resulting from research to the general public as well as to encourage research to meet the needs of wine professionals and local stakeholders.
