Joseph Perrier (FR)

Partner of Le Palc for the immersion residency
Founded in 1825, the Joseph Perrier Champagne House is a family business, established in Châlons en Champagne for 6 generations. The House rapidly expanded throughout Europe in the 19th century. Its vineyards cover 23 hectares in the heart of the Grands Crus and Premiers Crus of Champagne. Its cellars, several kilometres long, are dug into ancient Gallo-Roman chalk pits on the hillside. The limestone nature of the cellars allows the creation of the moderate temperature necessary for the optimal conservation of the bottles, for several years. The company employs around twenty people throughout the production chain, from the cultivation of the vines to the elaboration in the cellars and the marketing.
Attached to biodiversity, Joseph Perrier has been working for many years in integrated viticulture. Since March 2021, its vines have been certified as “Viticulture Durable” in the Champagne region and High Environmental Value.
