She is a swinging trapezist and contortionist. She started her career at the design and arts field ESCOLA MASSANA in Barcelona, then moved to Turin in 2016 to start circus professionally at FLIC. She finished her formation at CNAC in 2021.
After finishing her circus degree at CNAC, Lucía started the writing of her first piece Kraquement, that will premiere in June 2025. In 2023, she contributed to the site-specific creation Insomnia at the Stella Matutina Museum (Ile de la Réunion) and made her debut in the Hand to Hand project, an inter-European project focusing on new ecological perspectives in circus. At present she is performing in Rara Avis, 29é Circ d’Hivern de l’Ateneu Popular de 9Barris directed by Natalia Barraza.

Her prototype is Petralaions. (time 20min)
Petralaions has been developed in an immersion residency in Fila Arches, artisanal paper factory, together with Le Palc, National Circus Centre in Châlons-en-Champagne, France.

Petralaions begins with a journey of suspended images, tracing the contours of a society, and leading us into a paper-based fiction.
Between performance and installation, Petralaions reflects on society—how we respond to capitalism, to our patterns of consumption. The audience is invited to imagine and to question their place within an organism such as the geological era we inhabit: the Anthropocene.
The performance is narrated from paper forms, contortioned movements, sounds, the voice and the participation of the audience
When reality meets fiction, the role of the spectacular shifts.
The reconstruction of a landscape through contortion, the reorganization of a body, which is always human. The attempt to find new perspectives.
