The association ARVIVA – Arts Vivants, Arts Durables

The association ARVIVA – Arts Vivants, Arts Durables was founded in 2020 based on two observations: that the performing arts have a role to play in addressing environmental challenges, and that they are particularly vulnerable to their consequences.
The association’s activities are structured to address both the reduction of the environmental impact of performing arts activities across all planetary boundaries and the promotion of a more tolerant and just social organization for the cultural sector.
To this end, the association’s main modes of action are peer-to-peer consultation and exchange, the development of structural tools, the observation and analysis of the sector, and the promotion of inspiring initiatives and experiments.
