The French Institute (FR & all over the world)

It is associated with the project to contribute to the reflection and dissemination of the results of the project.

It is a public institution in charge of France’s external cultural action, under the supervision of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture. It promotes French culture internationally in dialogue with foreign cultures. It acts at the crossroads of the artistic sectors, intellectual exchanges, cultural and social innovation and linguistic cooperation. It supports the promotion of the French language and the circulation of works, artists and ideas throughout the world.
It supports the 131 cooperation and cultural action departments of French embassies, as well as the 98 French institutes and 138 branches around the world. It deploys a significant European and multidisciplinary dynamic, through projects supported by the European Union, carried out as a leader and as a partner, or the coordination of regional projects in Europe. It is also a member of the EUNIC (European Union National Institutes for Culture) network, and cooperates closely with its European counterparts.
